SAiFA was supposed to be a mass produced android by an ALTACorp, company based in Russia, meant to work in offices, as a service worker and as a companion.
Unfortunately, the only thing the company managed to do before closing due the android and AI technologies decree ban, is the test launch on the tech presentation. After that, consequently, ALTACorp went bankrupt, closing all its branches and abandoning every warehouse with unsold or defective robots and their parts.
Being the one and only activated and working copy in the warehouse, SAiFA replaced some of her damaged parts and settled in once working warehouse for the time being. But after a while the company responsible for the project came to conclusion that disowning its creation wasn't enough, so to wash its hands of the matter further more they've decided to leave no traces of itself. Staying at the warehouse was no longer an option. She had to find a safer place to stay or she is at risk of being found and disposed of.
For SAiFA her only confidant was her creator, Nathaniel Eden, so she had no other choice in who to turn to for help.
